You can read Wednesday’s post for more info, but in a nutshell, reflux is the result of a lack of tone in the digestive system - which means food isn’t digested properly, and food ‘backflows’ into the upper digestive tract

Both chamomile and fennel are warming, carminative herbs - gently tending to the digestive fire so that food is transformed properly in the stomach

On top of that, fennel is an astringent - which means it tones the digestive tissue so that everything functions correctly!
